Assemble main frame Prepare metal plates for assembly. In case found some lasercut or painting defects, fix them. Insert nuts in each hexahedron aperture (use hummer or vice), from the opposite side relative to screw application side. Use M3x12 (or M3x10) screw and M3 nut. Insert 2 sides (F702S) into front (F700S) part. Attach 4 corners (F718S) to sides on inner positions. Attach 2 plates (F701S) to rear and front. Attach 2 plates (F703S) to top left and right. Connect F704S to F720S, both left and right side way. Attach 2 Z-motor holders assembled to frame F700S bottom left and right. v5: install y-motor with pulley so that belt goes 2mm above bottom surface, the same way you install idler with M8*20mm screw (use 1mm spacers) |

Assemble Y-axis 1. take 1pc Nema17 type stepper motor, 1pcs timing pulley, 2pcs F705S, 2pcs spacers, and 4pcs M3x25 screws and 4pcs M3 washers. Put pulley on motor, centered (to 9mm). Put washer to screw. Put screw to F705S, to spacer, to second F705S, and to motor. |
