Newest HD chip is CSR8675 (BT5.0) codec APTX HD is not compatible with Sony LDAC basic apt-x () and SBC codecs are relatively poor, not found aptx support on xperia Z5 basic APTX supported by: CSR A64215 (Bluetooth v4.2 specification support, BT625, 2015, BTA-RX-A1-4) CSR 8645 (Bluetooth v4.0 specification support, with 5W amplifiers CSR8645 v3.2 to v4.3) |

Tested Sony Xperia Z5 with Marshall major ii bluetooth white (aptx detected by Android 7.1.1). These headphones give better sound on Intel 7260 adapter (laptop). |
