ThinkPad x220 tablet, has replaced cooler fan KSB0405HA (Delta 05V 0.30A), and laptop started this 30-minute self-stop life, despite normal operating temperature. Tried many BIOSes , from 1.11 to 1.40 - no difference. So, one could think that some "Fail state" can be saved to board in some case... Or need flash BIOS from properly working laptop with correct ME region or change south bridge... which is QM67 here. Intel® ME Firmware Version - 7.x |

Found BIOS.bak and renamed to BIOS.cap but winflash.exe refuses to upload, because it cannot detect version... and checksum error finally recorded CD with 1.40 and used that Windows installer of Lenovo BIOS uses WINUPTP.EXE |

Go to sleep with rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0 resets 30-min timer systeminfo will show uptime |

just updated BIOS to 8duj27us (1.42) and got ME post screen with : MEBx Error State : 0304 but it started normally and no timer happened . . .until manually restarted and tried set Leacy boot in F1 |

Phoenix UEFI Flash Tool cannot directly execute with error: Cannot launch the UEFI Emulator. Need to apply WinFlash Utility. |
