Sony laptop SVE14A1V1RW has UEFI Insyde R0300V4 for SVE14A.... other laptops Insyde R0290V4 for this model original offer InsydeH2O UEFI BIOS mentioned tools: H2OSDE H2OEZE H2OFFT |
After flashing bios part in cmd mode, afuwinx64.exe /ecx:K0300V4.ROM fan goes to normal work... but after restart it makes 5400RPM again It feels bridge chipset overheating (software shows 60 degree only). Near Intel bridge chip have another EEPROM 24C02A 67313 1219X, with 3.3V on it (when turned on), but datasheet says 5.0V... |
second update failed, board bricked MBX-276 Bios chip has power 3.3V on Winbond 25X10BVN1G 1214 |
Used programmer CH341A, uploaded K0290V4.ROM directly to chip, board came back to life. In case execute afuwinx64.exe R0290V4.rom /p /b /n fan comes to silent mode... but after restart again 100% speed. possibly ME issue |

Got VPCSA (device No.3) with similar problem, but fan speed goes up gradually, this time change paste helped. MBX-276 (device No.1) left DM as is -> returned to owner , "solution" was: making it silent after each boot with bios update script. |
got MBX-273 motherboard from SVE14A (device No.2), second flash here is different 25Q64BV flashed dump from first laptop (Sony SVE14A1V1RW - device No.1) - it (device No.2) started to stuck on logo turn off ATI video = delete PL14 component -> done -> normal boot now, no stuck any more (device No.2) |
Got another SVE14 laptop (device No.4) with MBX-270 V170 1P-0123J00-6012 REV:1.2 without second graphic chip, also no PL15 coil, SVE1411E1RW product name SVE141B11V model R0220E7 BIOS placed main battery from this SVE141 laptop to SVE14A (device No.2) -> finished with that laptop -> sold out (device No.2) SVE141 has mostly different hardware from SVE14A, only several parts are compatible |
