Tested Netgear WNDR3700 dual band router with OpenWrt 18.06.4 -> it works fine on both bands, as AP and client, as OpenVPN client - configuration applied as usually. |

Installed this router Netgear N600 WNDR3700 before as additional AP. Tested changed to client - repeater mode https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wifi/relay_configuration force dual N protocol 40MHz width only - not stable , changed to default = auto bandwidth. Used main frequency: channel 11 (2.462 MHz) channel 149 (5.745 MHz) Used to work WNDR3700 as main router with Tp-link T2UH USB wireless AC adapter - client to internet, OpenWrt. Now keep this router as backup 24h online, connected USB LTE modem as internet source, works stable. |
