ECU does not control fan. Wiring harness to fan comes from right side inner fuse box to external left fuse box under hood "01" /82111-18010C-J on the front (wire comes directly from nearby relay). Ground to motor is W-B line - from common ground +12V to motor is L-B line - from radiator fan relay (FR box) -> restored this line wire Radiator fan relay connects L-B line to W-G line (fuse 30A) to W-R line from main relay to W line (battery power +12V DC) Radiator fan relay coil takes power from IG2 B-R line and LG-R + LG-W switch lines (temperature and pressure breakers) There should be on ground line to relay EA2: 1) water temperature switch (located on another "engine" harness, near distributor and faced to rear, on the thermostat) : LG-W wire goes to high pressure switch through "EA2" connector GND is switch thread itself = engine body 2) high pressure switch located nearby - may be ignored here... LG-R wire goes to radiator fan relay coil magnet GND LG-W wire goes from water temperature switch through "EA2" connector connect these lines permanently (high pressure switch removed) |

"L" color is bLue "LG" color is light green Fan relay is Denso B4 056700-4670 and it is normally closed model Found it is "burned" - fix by soldering iron failed, replaced with used original one. Radiator fan relay is the near (first) one in box marked "fan" Toyota /90987-03001 12V15A 4-pin: 1) B-R +12V to coil magnet from IG2 2) LG-R GND to coil from high-pressure switch 3) L-B +12V to motor (normally closed) 4) W-G +12V from fuse |
